Firstly we had a great holiday based at Golden Coast topped off with a full week of fantastic weather. However it was in need of a serious clean. The kitchen cutlery drawer had a medicine syringe so had to wash every utensil. Some of the outdoor activities (pool and jungle area) looked like they might keep teenagers happy if the weather holds (which it didn't) but if you have teenagers (or digitally connected adults) be warned - THERE IS LITTLE OR NO 3G MOBILE ACCESS either on site or in the Woolacombe area.Also, the on site WiFi (which wasn't working anyway during our stay) is an eye-watering 15 for 24 hours access. This was the first time we able to do bowling as the prices were, good value. This was done with the present net located at the side of the pool and was full of days worth of dead bugs.
